Do I need to create an account?
No. MerryList has no accounts and no sign-in. Everything you add lives on your device.

Will I lose my list if I get a new phone?
Your list rides along in your phone's normal backup, the same as your other apps. Pro's CSV export also gives you a manual backup you can keep anywhere.
