Do I need to create an account?

No. MerryList has no accounts and no sign-in. Everything you add lives on your device, and your list never leaves your phone.

What happens when a new year starts?

Your list rolls over automatically. Everyone stays on your list, but the Sent and Received checkmarks reset for the new year. Past years are saved in History.

What's included in Pro?

Pro is a one-time $4.99 purchase, no subscription. It unlocks every past year in History, streaks and who-hasn't-sent-back trends, and printable Avery 5160 labels, #10 envelopes, and a full CSV export.

How do I import people from Contacts?

Tap the + button on This Year and choose Import from Contacts. MerryList only asks for contacts access the first time you do this, and you pick exactly who to bring in.

I'm getting a new phone. Will I lose my list?

Your list rides along in your phone's normal backup (iCloud on iPhone, Google's backup on Android), the same way your other apps' data does. If you want a manual backup you can keep yourself, Pro's CSV export saves everyone and every year to a file you can store anywhere.

How do refunds work?

MerryList doesn't process payments directly. Purchases go through the App Store or Google Play, so refunds are handled there under their standard policies.
